This is George Baker’s solo organ arrangement of Bach’s famous “Jesus bleibet meine Freude” (Jesu, joy of man’s desiring) from his Cantata 147. The original score was carefully studied and transcribed to include all the notes that many simpler transcriptions simply omit. The result is a rich version of the piece, one which is a little tricky to play at times, but still well within the abilities of most accomplished organists. Difficulty level: 6.5/10.
